Board game party with Demon Slayer characters!

A board game-type party game filled with love for “Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba-“.

The game is basically a sugoroku format. Each player rolls the dice and follows the instructions on the square they land on.
Before the game starts, you decide how many turns you will play. At the end of all turns, you compete with the “promotion points” you have earned.
You can compete in mini-games on the squares you land on, and there are events that will make those who know the original work and anime smile.
By efficiently earning “battle coins,” you can purchase items that will give you an advantage in the game.
There are also battles against demons, and all players cooperate to fight.

Abundant mini-games

In the form of battles against small demons and training, mini-games in which everyone participates occur every turn. Sometimes it’s a team battle.
There are ones related to each map, and ones that will make you smile if you know the original work!
*You can play mini-games you have already played individually from the “Function Improvement Training Mode” in the main menu.

Action

Things like flying a paper airplane far away, or working together as muscular mice to carry a sword!

Battle

Sword fighting, or knocking other players out with a spinning top!

Memory

Things like remembering the box Nezuko hid, or character concentration!

Timing

Wake up Tanjiro the moment he falls asleep, or sneak around and chip the blade of Inosuke’s sword when Kotetsuzuka isn’t looking, etc!

Thinking

Spot the difference between Hyottoko masks, sorting bombs from fireworks, etc!

Racing

Sled races on snowy mountains, split-screen races on Mt. Saro, etc!

Sports

Shuttlecock with divided positions, marble curling in team matches, etc!

Rhythm-based

Zenko (Zenitsu)’s shamisen practice, Suzume Chuntaro’s dance, and more!

Rapid-hitting

Endure Mitsuri’s splitting, Daruma Drop, and more!

Shooting-based

Shooting games, team snowball fights, and more!

Other

Trace the outline of a frame, fishing, whack-a-mole, and more!

So many playable characters

As of September 2024, there are a whopping 14 playable characters!

There is no difference in character performance, but the “Soldier Dice” that can be used every three turns has different effects for each character.

Also, the dialogue between characters during events may change depending on the character!

Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Kanao (added in an update!), Genya (added in an update!)

Giyuu, Shinobu, Rengoku, Tengen, Muichiro, Mitsuri, Obanai, Sanemi, Gyomei

On the way, characters that are not selected may accompany you!
*Nezuko only appears at night as a support character who helps the lowest ranking person

Board maps based on the anime series

As of September 2024, there are six maps to play on.
Each map is full of gimmicks related to the original episodes.
When it becomes “night,” a symbol of fear in the world of Demon Slayer, the game changes slightly and a battle with demons occurs!
When a new anime series is released, maps are also added!

Stage 1

Set in Mt. Fujikasane, the northwestern town, and Asakusa. First half of the anime “Risi-hen”. You can move around by boat!

Stage 2

Set in Tsuzumi Mansion and Mt. Natagumo. Second half of the anime “Risi-hen”. You can move around by boat or get swept away by the river!

Stage 3

Set in the area around the station and in the forest. The anime “Mugen Train Arc”. You can ride the train!

Stage 4

Set in Yoshiwara Red Light District. The anime “Red Light District Arc”. Intense battles on the rooftops at night!

Stage 5

Set in the swordsmith village. The anime “Swordsmith Village Arc”. Training with Yoriichi Zero Type and hot springs!

Stage 6

The stage is the training ground with each pillar. The anime “Pillar Training Arc”. Flashy training with the pillars!

Additional elements that liven up the game

You can get various collection items at the “Lucky Draw (Gacha)” at the end of the game.

Stamps

The so-called “emotes”. You can express your emotions with voice.
Board games are boring when other players are playing…
This is one of the ingenious ways of this game to turn that negative element into a positive one.

Costumes

The player’s appearance changes! There are also costumes for special situations that appeared in the original work.

Paper/Title Frame

Decorate the profile frame. Express your individuality with the appearance of the frame and your title.

Record Photos

Collect famous scenes from the anime.

Other

The nighttime goal is to battle the “boss demons” that are named after each episode of the original work, and it’s very exciting.
Even if you’re not a fan of the original work, you’ll be excited by the gorgeous attack effects of each character.

PS version is a bit disappointing

The Switch version has a feature that lets you fight demons by swinging the Joy-Con…
But unfortunately, this isn’t implemented in the PS version. It’s a shame, as this is an element that would have made the battle feel so immersive.
